Maison Assouline is very, very french.
We stumbled on their chic boutique whilst on a recent buying trip in London.
Based in busy Piccadilly opposite the Royal Academy of Art.
The Lutyens designed building is home to a simply stunning boutique, specialising in design books. Massive tomes, full of beautiful images.
You can enjoy a sip of Champange while you browse, Assouline also offer a traditional bookbinding service.
The space has a secretive ambience, smelling of tabacco & old leather, giving the feeling of an old gentlemans club.
If you like design, whether interiors, fashion on architecture Maison Assouline is worth a visit and of course a glass of bubbly.
